Services and Tools for Research Collections and Provenance Research

The TWG identifies services and tools for research collections and provenance research. The aim is to create an international online catalogue that reflects domain-specific needs. This will provide a status quo of the current digital tools in provenance research. A particular focus will be placed on the object-specific management of (name) standard data, i.e. data on previous owners and sellers, which on the one hand are persons and on the other hand are corporate bodies. Characteristics of archaeological and ethnological objects and their inherent legal components will be specifically taken into account.
