Solving vagueness modelling issues in numismatics and ceramology
Using the example of ship depictions and graffiti on Roman gold coins and ceramics, semantic modeling of vague relationships is created on the basis of the Academic Meta Tool (AMT) meta-ontology. As a result, an AMT-API will be implemented and specific best-practices for AMT ontologies for the description of vague semantic statements based on the examples will be published. These models and the research tool will be taught in a seminar at the University of Cologne.
