NFDI4Objects at the annual CAA Germany Workshop

Many thanks to the Department of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Archaeology at the University of Münster’s History Seminar for the great workshop of the Working Group on Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA), which took place in Münster this year.

NFDI4Objects was represented at several sessions on the topics of sustainable research in archaeological sciences, documentation and evaluation of excavation data, and 3D documentation – opportunities and challenges in archaeology.

Many thanks also to our speakers Anja Gerber, Florian Thiery, Fabian Fricke, Jonas Abele, Kai-Christian Bruhn and Allard W. Mees for the exciting insights into the various tools and services that NFDI4Objects has developed for and by our community.

Would you like to learn more about our tools and services? Then join us at our 2nd NFDI4Objects Community Meeting from 25 to 27 September in Mainz! Registration ends on 13 September 2024.

Don’t miss our other reports on the CAA workshops, which we will publish here over the next few weeks.
